Growing up, Sunday night was always family dinner night at my house, no exceptions. My love & appreciation for cooking with fresh, authentic, organic, ingredients was born in the kitchen, cooking with my sweet little Italian Grandma, Dad, & house full of family!

Last night we had homegrown + homemade: Beet Burgers & Fried Oyster Mushrooms. [Beet burger topped with our first slicing tomato of the season (!), & Spring Lettuce Mix.

I was asked for the batter recipe & truly never go by recipes, but we were craving spicy: Egg, Flour, Water, Siracha, Garden Green Onions, Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Peri Peri aioli, Garlic aioli, & Cayenne.
